Drainage Hgv Driver

Chesterfield, United Kingdom Drainage 2000 Ltd Full time

HGV driver operator with some drainage experience required and 360 trained with either MPORS or CPCS.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a truck or flatbed, to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safety of the cargo
- Load and unload materials from the truck using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Ability to load and off load 360 machines and dumper trucks.

**Skills**:

- Valid driver's license
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to operate a flatbed or other specialized equipment is a plus
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of materials
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
