**Role and Responsibilities**:
Checking goods in against orders

Managing goods in/out in stock elements of business

Taking inventory of warehouse

Ordering supplies when necessary, booking and then cataloguing goods onto digital system

Taking orders and picking from shelves

Dispatch to delivery drivers

Eventually assisting on service and parts counter

Dealing with customers largely face to face

Management of warehouse

General housekeeping duties

Clear work environment working in line with health and safety

Other roles and responsibilities as and when essential

**Required Skills**:

- Good IT skills - knowledge of different computer packages
- Good keyboard skills
- Numerate and Literate
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work to tight timescales
- Able to work as part of a team, as well as individually
- Able to deal with children/parents sensitively and keep information confidential**Required Qualifications**:
Maths, English and ICT, GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent.

**Training**:
Supply Chain Warehousing Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship

Maths and English to Level 1 required, if not already achieved. The Level 2 maths and English to Level 2 - test to be taken - please note the apprentice will need to study to be capable of passing the level 2 and cannot simply be entered for it without proof of readiness to take test.

Ongoing assessment by the employer and provider - for example meetings with apprentice, employer and learning provider, observations of workplace, gathering evidence

Undertake a self-assessment in the last month of their apprenticeship to enable them to see whether they are confident that they have taken on board all aspects of the occupation. This self-assessment must be submitted to the independent end point assessor as a source of evidence to prepare for the professional discussion
