Industrial Painting Supervisor

Blue Arrow Glasgow are currently recruiting for an **Industrial Painting Supervisor**. This role will consist of supervising a team of 10 Industrial Painters who will be painting Train Stations and Maintenance depots across the Greater Glasgow area.

This position will last for several months and will start ASAP. A company vehicle will be provided.

Hours of Work: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

Pay: £25 per hour (PAYE)

**Essential Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in industrial painting and coatings, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Holder of a CSCS supervisor card is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of industrial painting systems, coatings, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and train team members.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in various locations across Scotland and willingness to travel as necessary (accommodation and subsistence will be paid)
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

**Duties for the Industrial Painting Supervisor will include**:

- Supervise a team of 10 industrial painters and ensure quality work is being performed
- Train and mentor new and existing painters in the use of painting tools and equipment
- Schedule and assign tasks to the team members and coordinate with other contractors.
- Assist with completion of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Monitor work progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular safety meetings with team members and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure work meets company and customer standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Order and manage the inventory of paint and supplies.
- Provide regular reports to management on project progress, safety, and quality metrics.
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation related to projects are completed accurately and on time.
