Assistant Director of Sales

Situated in a beautiful Scottish setting, a Luxury Hotel requires a determined, self-motivated, and experienced Assistant Director of Sales. The right individual will be highly driven by results and work alongside the Sales and Events team working closely with all departments across the Resort. The primary focus will be to provide exceptional service working in partnership with our clients & maintaining the high standards set, with creating memorable events.

Applicants ideally will have a major passion for luxury hospitality and be committed to immersing themselves in product knowledge.

**Key Duties Include -**
- Reach annual sales goals.
- Demonstrating leadership in the group market.
- Designing packages for clients
- Targeting specific group customers that will generate business on behalf of hotel whilst negotiating deals.
- Utilising prospecting resources to solicit and secure business on behalf of the resort.
- Use company wide programs - sales developments, prospecting projects, WSO customer events and reporting for group business development.
- Follow up on leads and qualifying business to generate group room nights and associated food and beverage revenue.
- Mapping and executing account plans
- Coach and mentor group sales managers to ensure they are meeting and/or exceeding sales goals, prospecting, and solicitation targets along with revenue goals.
- Support the DOS, pace report, annual budget process and creating the marketing plan.
- Maintain ongoing SMART plans.

**Prerequisites**:

- Proven track record in sales management within the hospitality industry
- A proven track record of sales successes
- Coaching and people development
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities

**Salary**: £40,000.00 per year
