We are a Local Education Provider (LEP) for Lincoln medical school. We form a close link with Lincoln medical school, Health Education England and other LEP partners in providing comprehensive teaching, training and clinical experience in psychiatry for Lincoln undergraduate medical students.

From February 2023, the number of students we have on placement will increase, hence we are required to expand our administration team. We are looking for an Undergraduate Administrator, to work alongside our Undergraduate Co-ordinator. We have already gained an excellent reputation for the teaching and clinical experience we provide and have a medical education team who are committed to enhancing students’ experience.

The role will also afford you the opportunity to support the delivery of the new Health Care of Later Life teaching programme, starting in March 2023.

The base will be at Welton House, Lincoln, with some flexibility for remote working when the service allows. This is a part-time post, but there may be potential, depending on funding, for the role to develop and for the hours to be extended

The hours of work are; Monday's and Friday's 8.00am-4.00pm, with the remaining hours (3.75 hours) to be worked on either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

**The main duties will involve**:

- Contributing to positive medical student experiences through helpful support and

administration.
- Providing a full administration service for all aspects of undergraduate medical, supporting the

Undergraduate Co-ordinator in organising the medical student timetables, scheduling teaching

sessions etc.
- Assist in the delivery of teaching events and training programmes.
- Collating and presenting medical student feedback.
- Designing relevant training materials and maintain computer databases.

**What we ask of you is**:

- Good IT skills over a range of Microsoft Office packages, including use of databases,

spreadsheets, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
- A methodical approach and able to give attention to detail.
- An ability to work on own initiative

The post encompasses responsibility for the delivery and evaluation of professional teaching activity and skills training for undergraduate medical students. The post-holder provides administrative support to the Undergraduate Co-ordinator, ensuring optimum usage and high standard of administration for Undergraduate Medical Education
