My client is looking for a hands-on Senior Software Developer to join their.NET Development team. You should have a vast amount of experience within a development team and will be called upon to execute complex implementations as well as supporting withmentoring junior team members and knowledge sharing throughout the business.

**Roles and responsibilities**
- Mentoring of the.NET development team and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards
- Championing process by following established processes and supporting their continual improvement.
- Playing a key role in identifying and championing improvements in the areas of technology, process, and product
- Writing technical documentation in line with documentation standards and processes
- Liaising with technical staff at customer and partner organisations
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team
- Planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design
- Writing testable, scalable and efficient code and conducting code reviews

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**
- Vast hands-on C#.NET, RESTful API, and web development experience
- In-depth knowledge of microservice architecture, API design,.Net Core and CI/CD
- Previous hands-on experience with MongoDB database
- Experience working within cloud infrastructure preferably AWS
- Strong understanding of architecture, design patterns and software engineering practices
- Substantial experience with Agile and different software development methodologies
- Able to lead customers, partners/suppliers, and all teams in the organisation to bring together diverse opinions and agree upon coherent technical solutions
- Organised and methodical, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

**Desirable**
- Experience with large systems provided as a service (e.g. PaaS, SaaS), payment gateways with significant scale of users transaction throughput and product complexity
- Experience in using container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) is an advantage
- Any exposure to Lambda
- Knowledge of Python is desirable
