Job description:
We are now recruiting for a permanent, full time member of staff, to join our Wakes Colne team, as a Warehouse Assistant.

In this role, you will carry out general warehouse duties effectively and in accordance with procedures and to ensure all goods are picked promptly and accurately and are securely packed ready for dispatch, fulfilling dispatch deadlines.

**THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: YOUR TASKS**
- To ensure that all orders are picked, checked, packed, and dispatched, on time, and right-first time, in accordance with current operating procedures.
- You will be responsible in ensuring stock is unloaded safely, booked-in and put away accurately.
- Process any returned goods into our returns system.
- Liaise with other members of the team, including the office staff to communicate package to meet customer service requirements.
- Within the role you will be required to partake in stock takes and stock management.
- As an ongoing task you will be expected to ensure high standards of cleanliness within the Warehouse and to keep all areas clear of debris

As a small team you may also be required to contribute to our ‘In-House’ production (aluminium cutting, bending, drilling and some plate engraving primarily) during busy periods and/or coverage for sickness and annual leave and if so, full training willbe provided.

Working hours are 40 per week. Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm.
