**We are recruiting for a hybrid working Purchase Ledger Assistant to join us in our Manchester office. You will be part of a fast-paced team, who strive to deliver, with dynamic and varying duties. This role will be 3 days per week in office and 2 working from home, giving you that true work / life balance.**

**Sitting within our Finance Shared Service Department, as Purchase Ledger Assistant you will**:

- Receive supplier invoices and ensure they are captured on the system accurately
- "Matching and batching" invoices
- Prepare regular supplier statement reconciliations, responding to any queries in a timely manner
- Liaise with internal and external staff including buyers - to help support deliveries
- Prepare weekly payment runs
- Posting payments, Direct Debits etc.
- Answering a number of inbound calls per day, supporting supplier queries surrounding invoices
- Providing an enjoyable customer experience, tailoring solutions to meet the needs of the customer

**What will you bring?**

We are looking for an individual with experience in Accounts Payable, who is passionate, experienced in working in a high pace environment and can show their work initiative. Historically this role is a great role to commence your career - with many in this role progressing in to Finance and more Senior Finance roles.
