**Trainee Bid Writer - Maintenance & Planned Works**
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded and well known property maintenance contractor. They are looking to take on a Trainee Bid Writer.
**Job Purpose/Background**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join the dynamic team. As a Trainee Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in the bid management process, helping towards the delivery of high-quality proposals and securing new business opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Completion of Approved Lists, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), and Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents as assigned by the Head of Bids.
- Support with allocated submissions, including conducting 'kick-off' meetings to ensure team members understand proposal requirements and their responsibilities.
- Help with creating and implementing compelling bid themes throughout the written proposals.
- Collate and submit all bid and pricing documents within specified deadlines.
- Provide quality/bid information in the preferred format requested by clients.
- Manage portal downloads/uploads and utilise bid management software to generate and record responses.
- Liaise effectively with Branch, Sales, and National staff to gather accurate and relevant information for bid responses.
- Maintain regular communication with the team and manager, promoting transparency and collaborative working.
**Knowledge / Experience**:
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
**Salary & Benefits**
- £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
