**Job Summary**

Dynamic role within a leading insurance group at Lloyd’s, to join their Investment and Credit Risk team reporting into the Group Head of Investments, Treasury & Credit Risk. The role will be responsible for all aspects of credit risk (reinsurers, brokers,cover holders and banks, credit risk within investment portfolio) managing the Credit Committee, performing investment portfolio analytics and working with 3rd party asset managers to manage risk within the investment portfolio as well as identifying opportunitiesto maximise return.
- Management of external investment accountants, month end reconciliations and regulatory returns
- The role will have significant exposure to C-Suite management through the Credit Committee and the Finance & Investment Committee.

**Main duties**
- Work with the Group Head of Investments to provide a suite of management reporting exhibits to enable the CFO, the Finance & Investment Committee, Risk & Capital Committee, Companies Management Group and relevant legal entity board to efficiently monitorthe investment portfolio and make effective decisions.
- Manage the 3rd party investment accountants along with the month end reconciliation process
- Complete quarterly regulatory reporting requirements in relation to investments.
- Assist the Group Head of Investments in preparation of the annual net investment income plan and quarterly forecast
- Work with Capital Modelling Team to ensure the parameterisation of the Asset Returns Model (ARM) is appropriate.
- Maintain and manage the Financial Market and Liquidity Risk Policy.
- Assist the Group Head of Investments in ensuring the Group's investment and risk policies comply with all relevant regulatory requirements e.g., Lloyd's, FSA, and Solvency Il requirements.
- Work with the Group Head of Investments in managing the relationship with external investment managers, third party service providers, such as custodians and regulators.
- Liaise with Investment Managers to provide investment analysis and support to the Pension Scheme Trustees
- Complete risk analysis on portfolios and potential future investments on a regular basis to ascertain the appropriateness of current portfolio versus risk appetites.
- Assist in the development of the investment strategy to relevant legal entity board or group management committee
- Ensure compliance of investment portfolio with all risk appetites and ESG metrics
- Complete monthly stress testing on portfolio for traditional stress events and climate value at risk
- Produce monthly reporting to parent company.

**Credit Risk**
- Overall responsibility for the reporting of counterparty exposure - reinsurers, brokers/ cover-holders, and banks
- Responsible for production of the Credit Committee report and managing the Credit Committee, which is a sub-Risk & Capital Committee
- Management of key stakeholder relationships and providing support to Reinsurance Purchasing, Operations, Finance and Underwriting teams
- Responsible for the maintenance of the credit risk policy, Credit Committee documents and procedure manuals
- Responsible for data management, including liaising with IT teams to develop and enhance credit risk reporting.
- Manage third party rating relationships.

**Our Requirements**

Essential
- 3+ years’ experience within a Credit Risk or Investment Risk role
- Qualified or part qualified ACCA, ACA, AMCT, CIMA or CFA
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Desirable
- Experience within the (Re) Insurance industry
