We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker with a Counterbalance Licence to join our clients team based near Flax Bourton.

As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations and materials handling. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate machinery such as forklifts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials within the yard
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate items
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Perform basic mechanical tasks, such as assembling or disassembling equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques, including loading and unloading procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Valid Counterbalance forklift certification is required
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to [insert weight limit])
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
