Involve Recruitment are looking for a permanent experienced M&E storeman/woman for a large commercial site in Manchester for a reputable M&E company.

**Position Overview**: The Site Storeman/woman plays a vital role in the logístical operations of our projects, ensuring that materials, tools, and equipment are efficiently managed and readily available for our teams. This position involves managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. The Site Storeman/woman will work closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff to support the successful execution of projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
- Organize and maintain storage areas onsite to ensure efficient access to materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to replenish stock as needed.
- Issue materials and equipment to project teams according to their requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to schedule deliveries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain documentation of all transactions using inventory management software.
- Assist in the implementation of safety protocols for the handling and storage of materials.
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast material needs and plan accordingly.
- Provide support to field staff as needed to facilitate smooth project operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction, engineering, or related industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials, tools, and equipment (preferred).
- CSCS card in date
