NET Recruit are partnering with a fantastically driven and forward-thinking business, operating in the Electrical Services industry, who are searching for an ambitious and bright Finance Assistant to join their team, located in the Swindon area. This role will sit nicely within their Finance Team, to support their existing professionals, primarily in ensuring that invoices are actioned and accounted for to begin with. However, there is a wider scope for this role to be developed, with the expectationthat at its fruition it will be a holistic Finance Assistant position, handling a variety of financial transactions from start to finish.
Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position, your duties may include but are not limited to:

- Processing and ensuring all Sales Invoices are actioned promptly
- Preparing clear statements for the business to demonstrate income and payments, as well as client statements to show amounts paid and owed over varying periods
- Handling bank transactions
- Data entry and processing on the ledger
- Conducting Credit Control checks on prospective clients as well as handling the Credit Control transactions, contacting customers over debt collection
- Ensuring that accounts are always accurate and well maintained
- Actively participating in Finance meetings
