We are responsible for the entire range of children’s education, health and social care services in all three boroughs. We use a Signs of Safety practice model and approach which ensures the voice of the child is at the heart of everything we do. **We are currently recruiting for a Family Coach.**

The role of the Family Coach is to hold a caseload and will be expected to engage and support referred families with entrenched, complex and multiple needs and deliver high quality support interventions in line with the early help assessment, planning and intervention framework.

About the role

We are looking for two Family Coaches to work directly with families and providing a holistic package of support via a family plan that is effective in improving outcomes for children and young people. This post will be based in our Family Hub Service which supports children, young people and families who need help through 1-1 and group work
- The role will make every effort to ensure support packages are timely and personalised to the needs of the families.
- The Family Coach is required to work at an intensive level in partnership with children and families and other agencies to enable children and families to sustain positive change and therefore increase resilience and reduce the need for professional support.
- The Family Coach will closely and creatively engage with local communities and partner agencies to establish and maintain an effective service for children and families in line with the objectives of integrated family hubs

About you

We are looking for an innovative, positive, dedicated worker who will help us to transform the lives and futures of children & young people.

You will need to be passionate about working with Children, Young people and their families and have a reassuring presence, be calm in a crisis and able to work with families in their homes, helping them make the necessary changes to stay together. You will also need to be/have:

- Educated to a level 4 qualification in a relevant field i.e. Youth Work, Social Care Education, Criminal Justice, Family Support/Parenting or equivalent by demonstrable training and experience
- Experience of working with vulnerable or disadvantaged families with complex needs and ability to design, implement and evaluate interventions that deliver positive outcomes
- Experience of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team
