We are looking for an experienced individual to support the Facilities team in the provisions of security, caretaking and cleaning. General caretaking function within the council offices and satellite sites, to support the efficient running of the Facilities Team at TDC by undertaking regular property inspections on all vacant buildings and to maintain accurate records of visits and to escalate any necessary repairs that cannot be completed by the caretaking team.

You must also demonstrate a high level of security awareness at all times and have knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures and Health & Safety, to carry out compliance inspections and liaise with contractors to ensure a planned preventative maintenance programme is scheduled where Thanet District Council are responsible.

Preferential Requirements:
Clean driving License, some knowledge of Thanet area. Computer literate with some experience of Google Mail, Docs and Sheets and other corporate systems.

**Salary**: From £21,348.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thanet District, Kent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
