Trinity House Group are working with an exciting new client. They are a rapidly growing PE backed company with £20m Ebitda based within Burton on Trent. They are looking for people who are eager to progress their own careers and grow with the company.
Focusing on multiple aspects of financial reporting and control, this is a great role for a first-time mover looking to transition from Practice to Industry, with plenty of development and support from an experienced finance team.
**The Role**:
- Consolidation of the group accounts, along with preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with audit and tax teams.
- Work with the Financial Manager and wider Finance team to prepare consolidated monthly management accounts for the group and the individual entities.
- Support in the delivery of the month end management accounts pack, including financial statements with insightful, commercially focused commentary and risks & opportunities analysis.
- Month end balance sheet reconciliations, with ownership of the non-COGS prepayments and accruals of the business.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the banks, Civil Aviation Authority, and other external stakeholders, including Companies House fillings.
- Support in the development and implementation of cost centre reporting to drive senior managers’ understanding of their performance vs budget / forecast and support in the control of overhead spend.
**Requirments**:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Practice experience or experience within a similar role in an equivalent size (complexity) business to Riviera
- +1 year post-qualification experience
- Up to date accounting technical knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS)
- Diligent and organizational skills
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis (e.g., pivot tables, lookups)
**Package**:
- £40,000 - £50,000
