**Job description**

1st Corporate Security has been developed as a quality security services supplier designed specifically to meet the needs of corporate customers throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK.

**Purpose of the Role**

The Main purpose of the security officers role is to maintain a high profile presence on the front reception desk offering assistance to all personnel visiting and utilising the building and perform certain building management functions.

**Main Duties**

To be first point of contact for all tenants, contractors and visitors to the property.

Establish and develop excellent working relationships with tenants of the property

To work closely with the managing agents, contractors employed for the property, to ensure that the highest standards at the property are maintained at all times.

Assist and direct all visitors to the site in getting to their required location within the building and kept a register of all visitors to the building. A tenant should be contacted prior to allowing a visitor beyond reception, to obtain their authority.

To answer the telephone and intercom systems in a professional manner.

Organise taxi facilities for the tenants, if requested.

Assist other employed staff, building occupiers and visitors in the event of an emergency.

Ensure health and safety is maintained to a high standard and assist with health and safety audits and repairs as and when required.

To deal with all queries on site efficiently and professionally and as appropriate direct any queries to third parties for action, ensuring the person raising the query is informed of the action taken and the expected outcome and timeframe involved.

Personal appearance is to be of a very high standard at all times.

A courteous, helpful nature must be displayed at all times.

To carry out any other duties the managing agents may from time to time consider necessary.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitates by your changing role within the organisation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 48 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus
