One of the UK’s leading ‘white label’ hotel management companies, Legacy Hotels and Resorts Limited have a rare opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our high calibre team in a well-established global brand. This role will drive the opening of the brand-new 146- bedroom Hampton by Hilton in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. This is part of a £250 million regeneration of the town centre; including 200,000sq ft of retail and leisure space, 520 space multi storey carpark and a Metrolink extension to Manchester City Centre. In the last couple of years the market has seen an increase in regeneration projects within Rochdale. This Hampton by Hilton will be located is the largest development in Rochdale in recent times.

The strategic sales leader will proactively drive the sales and marketing of the hotel facilities, outlets and room segments. The key focus will be on; establishing and managing local and national corporate accounts, liasing with Hilton and optimising the brand performance.

You will have the opportunity to be heavily involved with an exciting new project, working alongside a strong senior leadership team. You will have the autonomy to build a unique sales strategy which will showcase your strengths.

**Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- Develop, agree and implement the hotel commercial sales strategy, delivering an annual hotel commercial sales plan and social media selling plan & strategy
- Agree and manage new business targets and account management targets for themselves and hotel sales team
- Drive and keep up-to-date on brand and industry initiatives, ensuring awareness and market knowledge shared
- Ensure focus is on proactive sales, driving demand whilst assisting the reactive team in profitable conversion
- Network and build relationships around Rochdale / Greater Manchester to increase awareness of the opening/ profitability of the hotel
- Take ownership of the RFP process, conversion and delivery
- Implement and monitor a sales tracking system
- Take responsibility for all Corporate & Agency communications via soft and hard mailings/marketing and social media / social selling in liaison with brand
- Maintain and develop close working relationships with key business house travel agents and hotel booking agents
- Attend regular Business Reviews, Finance and Board meetings, as required
- Ensure the maintenance of the company database system and social selling to drive engagement and followers
- Agree increased growth within the Agency, Corporate & GDS sector of the business
- Lead the hotel sales team, helping to achieve their key objectives and revenue targets for the hotel
- Establish good working relationships with other Senior Sales Managers to co-ordinate our approach and refer leads
- Identify new sales and marketing opportunities
- Build relationships with Hilton and Legacy Hotels and Resorts

**What are we looking for?**
- Excellent communication, presentation and selling skills
- Ability to effectively influence key customers / corporate contacts / agents / GM / business owners and senior management team to support the sales growth targets
- Knowledge of all market segments and sales opportunities
- Experience of developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies
- Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to negotiate
- Knowledge of revenue management and account profitability, and RFP systems
- Financial management skills and commercial knowledge of delivering budgeted figures

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
