Tradewind is looking for engaging, warm, and personable people who are able to cover PE and other lessons in Cheshire West & Chester Secondary Schools. We work with schools across the borough and have a consistent need for qualified and unqualified teachers to cover PE and other general lessons

**As a sports specialist your responsibilities **will include**:

- Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
- Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
- Delivering pre-planned lessons
- Using provided resources to encourage learning
- Managing the behaviour within the classroom or sports hall or drama studio
- Developing independent study skills and peer learning
- Pastoral and learning support
- Managing handover back to the teacher

**The Essentials**:

- Experience supporting children / young adults on either a paid or voluntary basis
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
- Be able to provide a minimum of 2 professional references
- Legal right to work in the UK
