Aseptic Cleanrooms Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Clean-room Supervisor to join our team in the Aseptic department, preparing a varying range of injectable medicines under our MS licence.
The post is required to supervise the work of other support staff and ensure the smooth running of daily operational tasks in our small unit working closely with the Team Leader
The work is for the majority of the time within the clean-rooms, where strict levels of hygiene and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is required, utilizing pharmacy Aseptic Isolators to prepare injections and infusions.
Other tasks include generation of Aseptic worksheets using the Emiss and Qpulse computer systems. There are essential procedures to be written, followed and adhered to for the range of processes undertaken. There is a requirement to manage, train and mentor support staff
You will have responsibility to ensure the clean-rooms and associated complex equipment is working correctly, within defined parameters at all times for Aseptic preparation. You must adhere to the documented Quality Management System that is in place and report all required information.
There will be a requirement to carry out robust and accurate “assembly checking” of the product range, including hazardous and cytotoxic drugs. Entry into the clean-rooms will also be required to carry out product “in process” checking during the manufacture.

**Duties to include but not be limited to**:
- You will be required to communicate complex Information effectively; verbally, in writing and where appropriate using electronic formats, with colleagues, customers and staff from other professions on Aseptic products and supervision related issues.
- Concentration will be required for periods of two hours or longer, session ally, to observe and supervise product preparation and complete documents. Carry out self and in -process checks throughout the production process
- Assess and manage stock requirements of raw materials and consumables to ensure production schedules are maintained.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for the use of Controlled drugs in production processes
- You must ensure products are prepared to meet the production plan and demand.
- You must operate production and office equipment
- You are responsible for contributing technical knowledge to procedures and policies
