Batson Groundcare Ltd are looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative. We have teams based in Jarrow/South Shields/Boldon Colliery that are looking for another member to join their team.

The team undertaken Grounds Maintenance across sites around the Sunderland, Durham, Hartlepool & Middlesbrough.

Immidiate start available for experianced operatives.
- Contracts and provide references to support this.
- Full training and qualifications will be provided.
- Operative will be required to undertake winter maintenance and landscaping works outside of summer maintenance season.
- Good physical fitness is required as job will require you to be on your feet for long periods of times.
- Grounds Maintenance Operative will be responsible for:
**Grounds Maintenance duties such as**:

- Grass Cutting
- Hedge Cutting
- Strimming
- Weeding
- Application of Herbicide
- Edging
- Moss removal
- Shrub Border Maintenance
- Litter Picking
- Minor Vegetation Removal Works
- General area tidy up
- Be able to use App based scheduling system
- Reporting on daily sites completed to office support
- Maintain all vehicles, equipment and machinery used.
- Reporting any issues or problems on site
- Working within set timescales
- Meeting set targets & Standards
- Work safely in accordance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- To be able to coordinate and plan site routes and maps.

Working hours 40 Hours per week - Monday to Friday.

Overtime rates: Time&1/2 (Weekends)

Overtime is paid for anything over 40 hours per week.
