Hotel Services Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supervisory posts to be filled, supporting Hotel Services at YCR Hospital and Community Sites.

The position will involve supporting the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Catering and Housekeeping and linen room services, assisting in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices, supporting the Facilities Unit commitment to the EQMS framework and helping to maintain open, effective communication.

The post holder is responsible for training/ supervising and providing professional guidance to catering and housekeeping and linen room staff to ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to. In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all staff are appropriately trained and Supervised.

The post holder will contribute to the provision of healthcare for the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board by delivering a Hotel Service which meets all organisational and legislative standards and support the Facilities Unit commitment to the EQMS framework.

The Hotel Services supervisor will provide service guidance and support to staff responsible for service delivery, quality and monitoring and improving efficiency within the Hotel Services departments and at ward and department level at a community hospital and healthcare setting. The post holder will operate as a supervisor at sites where specified for specific services namely; Catering, Housekeeping and Porter Services ensuring that services are delivered to agreed specification, resources are adequate and available, staffing levels are maintained.

Post holder will be required to perform supplementary duties to respond to service needs and that are appropriate to the Facilities services and in line with their grade.

The post holder will be expected to work at any of the Health Board sites and to fulfil any job allocated, commensurate with the grade.
