Hooray are proud to be supporting a local apprenticeship provider to assist in the recruitment for an Academic Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

As an Academic Coordinator you will:

- Support the Academic Manager in ensuring the team provides high quality teaching to Learners
- Conduct and document regular one-to-one reviews with team members
- Update Academic Manager on any issues relating to delivery
- Coordinate the team to plan, develop and review schemes of work, lesson plans and resources to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant
- Ensure common standards are met in terms of learning and assessment, as well as safeguarding and the welfare of learners
- Support the Quality Lead and Academic Manager in the preparation for AO, ESFA and Ofsted inspections

To be successful as an Academic Coordinator you will:

- Be a qualified assessor
- Have a Level 3 or above engineering qualification / relevant engineering apprenticeship or engineering sector experience
- Be a qualified IQA, or a willingness to work towards
- Have excellent written and oral communication
- Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

In return, my client is offering an annual salary of up to £40,000.
