Litho Print Assistant

**Overview of role**

The Print assistant is a key member of the production team, supporting the Printers to ensure presses are running to max capacity.

**Main responsibilities**
- Ensure that Printing plates are available in line with Production schedule
- Ensure Printing presses are not waiting for production materials (E.g. ink, paper, coating, consumables, etc)
- Check ink ducts are topped up and using correct ink
- Ensure the Press room is kept clean and safe
- Assist the printer in press wash ups when required
- Assist the printer in equipment maintenance
- Manage soiled rags and rubbish bins
- Manage all waste i.e. Chemical, ink, paper, waste
- Waste bins removed when full

**Essential**:Minimum 2years experience working in a Print Assistant capacity

FLT license

**Desirable**:Experience running Litho Presses

Please note this position entails shift work including nights

**Salary**: From £20,400.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Overtime

Licence/Certification:

- FLT (preferred)

- Overnight shift (preferred)
