Locum Senior Registrar

Applications are invited for our Locum Senior Registrar post within Cardiology, Medicine to start asap until the beginning of August 2024.

This role will offer the opportunity to experience ward work, outpatient clinics and access to a variety of cardiology diagnostic sessions.

You will be working with the cardiology team, providing all round support which will include ward support, outpatient clinic support and CT/MRI access. This post will also have on-call responsibilities to support the registrar on-call rota.

Although the posts are not classified as approved training posts, all our trainees receive the same training, experience, support and education and this is an opportunity to work at a senior level within Cardiology.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.

The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

This is a senior post within Cardiology, which will provide access to key diagnostic sessions along with both ward and outpatient clinic work.

You will work as part of the senior team, supporting cardiology services.

Our friendly and enthusiastic team aims to provide excellent support and mentorship as well as the clinical and non-clinical skills to feel confident in the care and management of our patients, throughout the duration of your post and beyond.
