Our client based in Hemel Hempstead, is looking for a Head of Bids and Contracts to join them on a permanent basis.
As the Head of the department, you will be responsible for managing bandwidth of the Bid Team, providing necessary resource for applicable opportunities, as well as ensuring that future pipelined opportunities are accounted for.
Responsibilities include:

- The management and governance of all bids/tenders, frameworks and contracts
- Liaising with the Sales Management team to understand current framework utilisation and maximising this to achieve high usage
- Attending Framework review meetings and managing and implementing necessary feedback/actions
- Managing the Bids and Contracts Team
- Create proactive business propositions and development of framework portfolio
- Pipeline management and forecasting of future national frameworks and large tender opportunities
- Liaise with the Sales and Technical Services teams to develop business cases for product adoption based on framework/customer demand
Skills required:

- Ability to develop commercial strategies for future business opportunities
- Comprehensive management experience
- Ability to manage reactive and pipeline proactive opportunities
- Strong bid management background
