Bottle Brook Gardens Ltd is seeking a Gardener to join our team in Belper. This is a part-time position, with an average of 1 day per week.

**Duties include**:

- General gardening, including mowing, weeding, pruning, hedge trimming
- Working at height cutting hedges, and some tree work
- Some landscape work, including fencing
- Cleaning and maintaining grounds, including removal of trash and recycling
- Maintaining equipment, vehicles and tools needed for the job
- Making sure the job site is kept clean and free of debris
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Skills**:

- You need to be physically fit and strong, to work for at least 8 hours doing physical activity and sometimes lifting heavy item
- Full UK driving license (manual), and ability to get to Denby, DE5 in the mornings
- No experience or knowledge of gardening or landscaping is required, simply a good positive attitude and willingness to work hard and learn
- Ability to turn up on time
- Smart appearance, and ability to interact with customers and members of the public in a polite and respectful manner

I have immediate availability for someone to help me with a day a week, until the end of October. There will likely be more days available too. Winter work to be discussed. The ideal person would be willing to grow with the business, with the goal being for this to become a full-time role as the business grows.

**Salary**: £110.00-£120.00 per day
