**The Job**:
In this role you will provide support to the Portfolio management team, as well as providing a proactive investment management service on a discretionary basis. This is a busy varied role and requires an individual who enjoys multi-tasking and working to deadlines.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Portfolio Management**:

- Responsible for the initial (Stage 3) onboarding of all new portfolios.
- Responsible for the final (Stage 5) onboarding of new modelled portfolios, including system configuration.
- Creating and submitting bulk transactions for non-modelled portfolios.
- Undertake daily dealing across all modelled portfolios for new investments and raising cash when sales are requested.
- Organise and undertake the periodic re-balancing of the modelled portfolios and bulk fund changes.
- Undertake the reconciliation/checking of these deals.
- Build, up-date and maintain the model portfolios on third party platforms.
- Be the first point of contact for all platform queries, setting up new clients, establishing relationships and investing funds where appropriate.
- Undertake weekly cash sweeps and organise the investment of monthly contributions.
- Use PMS to monitor model and client level breaches, make necessary changes to rectify problem and contact relevant exec.
- To undertake checking procedures at all stages of the model management process.
- Produce and distribute breach reports.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure data errors, transactional delays and any other operational problems are dealt with and update Finance about overdrawn accounts.
- Sweep for unclassified securities and update recommendation changes.

**Introducer Support**
- Monitoring and allocating requests from Introducers.
- Assist in the day to day client queries from investment executives and third parties.

**Team Organisation**
- Produce Data Packs for various meetings.
- Produce Reports for the team or for distribution to other parts of the business in a timely manner.
- Take minutes at team meetings.
- Review the weekly Segregated Cash report and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
- Responsibility for daily STP error management.
- Assisting with projects around the business, offering feedback and working collaboratively with others to ensure that the requirements for both the team and the business are met.

**The Person**:

- A recent economics / finance related graduate who has a keen interest in stepping into financial services.
- Or an experienced administrator with industry experience or looking to join the industry.Excellent administration skills and attention to detail as well as time management and deadline constraints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to focus on multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn, adapt to changing direction of business.
- PC literate including knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, confidence online, using platforms and financial specific websites.

**The Salary**: £25,000 + Discretionary Annual Bonus + Super Benefits
**The Hours**: 35 hours per week to cover Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm (8am - 4pm / 9am - 5pm)
