Benton SEN Primary School is seeking a dynamic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success of our students.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support the overall development of students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create differentiated learning materials and activities.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
- Support students during transitions between activities and provide assistance with personal care if required.
- Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to monitor and assess students' progress.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special education are an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
