Procurement Leader

My client is a highly reputable, leading national insurance business looking to expand their team further. With a phenomenal track record of success and a prominent leader in their field, a commitment to providing a fun and supportive culture for their employeesis as important as their company performance.

They are looking for a Procurement Leader on a full time, permanent basis to join the team in the Truro area (predominately office based). This is a Monday - Friday position and the working hours will be between 8.30- 5.00pm. The starting salary is from£37,500 plus a competitive set of benefits.

You will be involved with managing projects, decision making and implementing efficient processes across multiple sites. Commercial experience is necessary and understanding and awareness of compliance and health and safety.

**Main duties include**:

- Ensure key suppliers are aligned with the business needs
- Contribute towards business projects
- Oversee suppliers and the auditing of suppliers
- Liaise with business partners, suppliers and any tenants as and when required
- Previous work experience in a regulated environment
- Polite and professional telephone manner
- An ability to show compassion and empathy
- Excellent customer skills and willingness to go the extra mile
- Computer literate
- Willingness to learn, develop and potential study
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player who is able to work to deadlines
- Insurance and agricultural knowledge would be advantageous.
