Job Overview:
We are an independant family company based in grimsby, We run a veriety of different companies some local and some national.
I am looking for a friendly, orgonised and pro active person to help me reduce my hours you will be taking over my Book keeping tasks for all the companies and working with each department head for purchasing and everyday book keeping.
Initially i will come to the office and help you to become confident with all tasks,
Please note i will bring my dog to work, so liking dogs is important.
I think one to two days a week should be enough to keep everything up to date, with occasional busier times for end of year accounting ect.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Help with Preparations of financial reports, including balance sheets,
- Work with each department head for purchasing, and cashflow
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Experience with QuickBooks is prefereable but not essential,
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: From £10,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
