Our pharmacy takes pride in its strong relationship with the local community and commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare experiences.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Patient Experience Management:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide attentive and personalised assistance to patients, answering their inquiries and addressing any concerns.
- Efficiently handle patient prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to offer professional advice regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and other relevant information.
- Offer support and guidance to patients while maintaining a caring and empathetic approach.
2. Stock Management and Dispensing:
- Manage and maintain accurate prescription records, ensuring prescriptions are filled accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor stock levels of counter products and store products, ensuring availability of commonly used items for patients.
- Assist in stock rotation, expiry date checks, and inventory management.
- Follow proper dispensing procedures, adhering to dispensing guidelines and legal requirements.
- Handle over-the-counter sales of medications and health products, providing appropriate recommendations to patients based on their needs.
3. Customer Service and Community Engagement:
- Uphold our pharmacy's commitment to providing exceptional customer service by maintaining a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor at all times.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, addressing their concerns promptly and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Proactively engage with the local community, participating in outreach programs and health campaigns to promote our pharmacy's services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving patient experiences and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to create a warm and welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to the local community.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate prescription management and stock control.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including dispensing procedures and regulatory guidelines, is desirable.
- Familiarity with prescription management systems and retail point-of-sale software is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Committed to delivering exceptional healthcare experiences and building strong relationships with patients.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 42.5 per week
