Metalis are currently working with a progressive company within the packaging sector. They are requiring a full time and permanent Tool Room Technician to join their high tech workshop.

**Salary**

£16ph

**Hours**

Monday - Friday 06.00 - 14.00 and 14.00 - 22.00 with flexibility

**Responsibilities and duties**
- To be able to maintain tooling and production equipment
- Carry out servicing on current tooling and production equipment
- Experienced in setting and operating lathes, milling machines, surface grinders and other workshop equipment
- To implement and understand TPM and improvement processes
- To liaise with visitors as necessary
- Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
- Experience in tool manufacturing
- Experience gained within a similar working environment
- Experience with CNC milling and turning using XYZ machines
- Power press and metal forming equipment

**Requirements**:

- NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering
- Abrasive wheel training
