**Rabobank - Value Chain Finance - Senior Energy Transition Originator & Structurer**:
The Senior Energy Transition Originator and Structurer is responsible for the overall coordination across Value Chain Finance (VCF) in the Europe and Africa Region. Specifically, this role will be responsible for the origination and execution of VCF transactions related to Energy Transition clients, within the locations covered by VCF Europe & Africa.

VCF’s global mandate is to offer structured inventory products, securitized asset based lending, receivable purchase/finance/discounting, ABL, portfolio finance and supplier finance based on customer needs and suitability. The VCF business ambition is to increase scale and standardization of these product offerings where possible with a clear focus on growing the portfolio. The European market provides significant opportunity for increased penetration of VCF’s product suite in the Energy Transition sectors. The Bank’s One Europe initiative will see the different VCF hubs working closer together to deliver on this ambition.

We are offering a position for an experienced Energy Originator and Structurer to be based out of either, our London office or Utrecht office, to join our collaborative VCF team. The position requires strong communication skills and interaction with various internal constituencies, primarily the Energy Transition team but also second line stakeholders (legal, credit risk management, Rabobank Group et al.) and coverage bankers to provide structured working capital solutions to Rabobank clients. In performing the role, the job holder is expected to achieve the business and personal goals and financial targets articulated and discussed through annual appraisal and on an ongoing basis, consistent with the key strategic and business aims of Wholesale within Structured Lending, VCF and the overall bank strategy.

The job holder will be responsible for the preparation of marketing materials and making presentations to clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Together with the regional VCF MT, the job holder will define the Energy Transition business strategy
- Coordinate the Energy Transition initiative within VCF Europe and Africa
- Lead and coordinate discussions with the Energy Transition team and the various internal stakeholders (coverage bankers, sector heads)
- Actively originate new transactions
- Active involvement in the execution of new transactions
- Preparation of credit and business memoranda
- Assist in coverage of ET clients and
- Education of VCF originators/structurers and bankers regarding Energy Transition product and market development.

The job holder will also be expected to have proficient knowledge of asset base finance solutions to corporate clients, extensive relevant experience in securitisation, receivables financing, structured finance or other asset based finance. The job holder will have demonstrable experience and working knowledge of banking products and an understanding of capital markets products available to corporate clients.

International travel is required.
