Bar Staff

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and take their orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously

At our restaurant, we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Bar Staff member, your responsibilities will include:
Greeting customers and taking their orders:

- Welcome customers as they arrive at the bar
- Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences

Preparing and serving beverages:

- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes or customer requests
- Ensure drinks are prepared accurately and efficiently

Maintaining cleanliness and organization:

- Keep the bar area clean, sanitized, and well-stocked at all times
- Restock supplies such as glassware, garnishes, and napkins as needed

Checking identification:

- Verify the legal drinking age of customers by checking their identification cards

Monitoring customer behavior:

- Observe customers' alcohol consumption and intervene if necessary to prevent overconsumption or disruptive behavior

Collecting payment:

- Process customer payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems
- Handle cash transactions, provide change, and process credit card payments

Providing excellent customer service:

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively

**Experience**:
While previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, it is not required. We are willing to train individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change to customers.

Strong time management skills are essential for prioritizing tasks and efficiently handling multiple drink orders simultaneously.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-50 per week

**Salary**: £8.50-£12.00 per hour
