Ancillary Worker

Manor House Care Home are recruiting for a Ancillary Team worker FULL /PART TIME

The Manor House is a residential and nursing home for up to 50 residents The Home is to be maintained to a very high standard and are team will provide a secure, happy and welcoming atmosphere for all residents and visitors.

**About the Role**:
As a Ancillary Team Worker you may be required to work in vinous areas of our home including Housekeeping, kitchen, dining room and Laundry.

You will be responsible for ensuring a clean safe environment is provided for our residents, visitors and staff and be an important part of our team that ensures our residents feel respected and valued. Duties will include following a daily cleaning schedule for cleaning within the home. Housekeeping duties will include, hoovering, dusting, polishing, shampooing carpets, mopping floors, making and changing beds, transfer of laundry to and from the laundry including ensuring all individuals laundry is returned to their room. Laundry duties will include looking after all clothing, bedding and any specialist equipment that requires laundering, ensuring everything remains in good repair, is labelled and washed according the the washing instructions and ironed to a high standard. Kitchen duties will include Veg Preparation as requested by the cook, washing up of crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment, loading and unloading the dish washer, transfer of trolleys and items to and from the dining room, storage and stock rotation of incoming goods. Dining room duties will include washing up of crockery, cutlery, transfer of trolleys and items to and from the Kitchen, serving meals laying and clearing of tables, ensure that dining rooms remain welcoming and presented to a high standard at all times. Other duties as required.

Full training with be given for the role. No experience necessary we recruitment for values not necessarily experience. Please note this position with require an enhanced DBS check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 - 39 per week

Pay: £10.42-£11.20 per year
