Do you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team? Do you have experience operating small plant? If so, we have a great opportunity to join our Reinstatement team as a Team Leader.

In addition to your salary, you will also receive an enhanced pay for any weekend and nightshifts worked, a monthly bonus and you will be provided with a company vehicle for use within working hours and all your PPE and tools provided.

**The role**

Reporting to the Area Reinstatement Controller you will be responsible for the permanent reinstatement of excavations in highways, footways and other hard paved areas.

You will work in a two-person team carrying out small and large reinstatements for other areas of the business. This will include working in the footways and carriageways maintaining and repairing the road surface and manhole frames and covers.

Part of being a Team Leader will be to direct the tasks and duties of your 2-person team as well as the larger gang which is usually 3-4 staff on day-to-day basis.

Please note, as part of this role you will be required to work some weekends and nightshifts, which you will benefit from enhanced pay.

**What do I need?**

We are looking for a self-motivated decision maker with a ‘can do’ attitude who is confident and driven. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain leadership experience who is well organised and a great team player.

You will have the ability to operate small plant (e.g. Pedestrian roller, disc cutter, trench rammer and plate compactor) together with knowledge of material specifications and laying procedures as well as proven experience in blacktop reinstatement.

It is essential you hold a NRSWA StreetWorks accreditation as well as a full driving licence, while a 7.5t or 18t licence is preferred.
