Named first of “_7 Technologies That Could Change Heart Healthcare Forevermore_” by the Robb Report, the CaRi-Heart technology is Caristo’s flagship offering which aids coronary artery disease diagnosis with improved risk prediction. It applies advanced AI algorithms to routine cardiac CT scans to visualize and quantify coronary inflammation, which is the previously invisible root cause of the disease. The technology is regulatory-approved for commercial use in Europe and Australia, and is currently being piloted in several NHS sites. The CaRi-Heart Technology is also a receipt of the NHS AI award, and has been recognised by the British Heart Foundation as a game-changing innovation for preventing cardiovascular disease.

**_ Job Title_**_: _Medical Lead for Cardiac Imaging
**_ Reporting to: _**Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Medical Officer.

Position Summary: _**This is a unique opportunity for a cardiologist or radiologist to join an Oxford University spin-out company and contribute to the Company’s service delivery, clinical research, as well as product development. The Medical Lead will help refine and execute the image analysis process based on outputs from the Company’s machine learning (ML) algorithms.
Specifically, this person will take an active role in: (1) refining cardiac CT image analysis workflow; (2) establishing process/SOP for physician-led quality control of CT image analysis; (3) analysing outputs generated by ML algorithms or image analysts; (4) supporting clinical research projects; and (5) supporting AI/ML product development.
**_Skills & Experience Required:_**
- Medical Degree with speciality training in cardiology or radiology.
- Experience in coronary CT angiography (CCTA) interpretation, ideally evidenced by BSCI or SCCT Level 2 or Level 3 accreditation.
- Prior experience with imaging core labs a plus.
- High attention to details.
- Great interpersonal/leadership skills in a dynamic, fast-pace team environment.
