We are looking for a motivated Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing in Cardiff. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involvedin all aspects of manufacturing activity within the company. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

**Role Description**
- Provides design and improvement of electrical hardware and software such as PLC programs for new and current models
- Provide engineering solutions to analyze and solve manufacturing problems down to the root cause level
- Manufacturing innovation provide electronics knowledge and know-how in delivering innovative solutions to the manufacturing process
- Set machine capacity targets based on production targets and support the provision of investments and schedules the match the business schedule
- Coaching and mentoring of those at technician and apprentice level

**Skills and Qualifications**
- HNC/HND in Mechanical/ Design Engineering
- Experience with Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC's
- 5+ years experience within manufacturing engineering
