Bakery Assistant

We're looking for someone to join our team of bakers, assisting them in the daily production of making a variety of freshly made homemade pies/pastries from scratch to the highest standard following consistent recipes and accurate measurements.

You will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, work well within a small team, work as part of the team, with a helpful, can do attitude and be willing to take instruction, assisting whatever required. Good work ethic, excellent time keeping and attendance.

There will be some cooking of meats for pie fillings.

Safe operation at all times of food equipment, pie blocker and eventually using the ovens.

Food hygiene & safety, is welcomed, as is experience in this role, but not essential as training will be provided.

Maintain a clean, organised work area at all times, cleanliness is of the utmost importance, excellent housekeeping skills at all times during the working day. Day to day cleaning duties will clean down all equipment, work surfaces, fridge and the floor area at the end of shift.

Hours of work will vary from 40-43 hours.

Hourly rate of pay to be discussed at interview stage, minimum wage has been advertised, as this hourly rate section can't be left blank.

**Salary**: £10.42-£10.43 per hour
