**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead by example and communicate to their personnel that safe working and operations are an absolute requirement to our clients.
- Responsible for making sure workshop areas are kept in a clean and orderly manner
- Intervening whenever they see a violation and holding a one to one discussion
- Taking part in H&S walkarounds and working closely with the HSE department on issues and findings
- Ensuring that HSE risks in the business area are being assessed documented and that the control measures are communicated effectively to the workforce to prevent any accidents or incidents
- Ensuring any incidents/ accidents/ Near misses are reported immediately and investigated accordingly
- Seeking the advice and guidance of the Managers and HSE department
- Working with management and HSE team on plant and equipment maintenance
- Responsible for the day to day running of the workshop, including the distribution of work
- Accountable for taking direction from top management and the Production Planner on the planning of workload and providing an update of work status regularly
- Responsible for logging completion hours of projects and ensuring allocated hours are managed
- Accountable for ensuring that the standard of workmanship is to an acceptable level and by relevant procedures
- Ensure that subordinates are helped to perform their job effectively and have the learning opportunities through which their abilities and potential can be developed by logging this on individual training and competency books
- Participate in continuous improvement and implement any necessary changes
- Responsible for ensuring the company’s disciplinary procedures are adhered to
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.
**Essential**:

- Demonstrable experience supervising in a fast-paced engineering environment.
**Preferred**:

- From an engineering background with a focus on the oil and gas industry
**EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE**

**Essential**:

- Demonstrates a high standard in completing tasks associated with the role of factory supervisor as defined in the key responsibilities above. Three years experience in a similar role
**Preferred**:

- Demonstrates a good understanding of safe working practices and can demonstrate commitment to safe working at all times.
**PERSONAL QUALITIES**

**Essential**:

- Confident and with an ability to work unsupervised and work on own initiative.
**Preferred**:

- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
