Architectural Technician

Our client, an established architectural practice are seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their team based in Coventry. You will have the opportunity to work for an architectural practice that have an excellent reputation in the areafor working on various industrial and commercial projects.

The most successful Architectural Technician / Technologist should have excellent technical ability and should be able to display this with a high-quality portfolio. Our client has developed a well-established business model, with clients across the UK,so the ability to drive to various sites is important. The most successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will be expected to hit the ground running and ideally experience should be within the industrial or commercial sectors. Excellent client facingskills & communication skills will also be a key element of this job. Our client uses a mix of Revit and AutoCAD so good knowledge of either software is also important.

**Architectural Technician / TechnologistPosition Overview**
- Producing high-quality drawings on AutoCAD & Revit
- Liaise with Building Control in order to obtain Building Regulations approval
- Work independently to deliver technical and detailed design packages of information
- Manage workloads in order to produce high quality information to meet projects deadlines
- Attend meetings with external consultants and other professionals
- Attend design team meeting with other professionals
- Prepare, submit and manage Planning Applications throughout the duration of a live project
- Meeting with the council & other professionals
- Working on various exciting projects in the Commercial & Industrial sectors

**Architectural Technician / TechnologistPosition Requirements**
- 3 + years' experience working in a similar role
- Based in or around the Coventry area
- Good knowledge of either Revit or AutoCAD
- Experience working on Industrial & Commercial projects (advantageous)
- Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
