**This is the job**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an AA Claims Negotiator to join our small team of dedicated Claims Negotiators who have 134 years’ service between them You will predominantly be acting as the defendant and be committed to providing a first class service, ensuring that all claims made against the AA (excluding motor accidents) are handled quickly and efficient.

Our team are the first point of contact for claimants who have suffered a loss, therefore you must be able to accurately obtain and record the appropriate claims information required to assess the claim. Thereafter you will be responsible for completing all investigations, reviews and negotiations for the claim and respond with the appropriate update or decision.

**What will I be doing?**:
You will work to ensure each claim is proactively managed, keeping our claimants updated and managing their expectations. Providing an outstanding customer journey until their claim is successfully finalised is vital.

**What do I need?**:

- Experience dealing with claims
- Self
- motivated
- Empathetic, assertive and diplomatic with both agents and claimants
- Resilience
- Knowledge of IRM claims system is desirable
