Your new company
Your new company is a real estate company based near Fulham. They are looking for a part time accounts assistant to join their expanding finance team. Coming out of lockdown they have expanded their client base and are in need of an experienced accounts assistantthat has a strong base of knowledge.
Your new job:

- Assisting with the delivery of accounting services to clients. This will include processing supplier invoices and staff expenses claims and preparing payment runs
- Setting up online bank payments and reconciling bank accounts and other control accounts
- Transaction analysis and some financial reporting
- Preparing monthly payroll journals
- Assisting with the preparation of year end accounts files (including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets) used in the preparation of statutory accounts
- Assisting with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Generally responding to client driven requests for financial information and assistance

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have strong bookkeeping experience preferably in a professional services environment, the ability to work to a high standard without supervision and the personality to be able to communicate well with all members of the team and with clientrepresentatives.
- Proven bookkeeping or accounts administration experience
- Preferably from a practice or multi-client background
- MS Excel proficient (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, presentation)
- Preferably with experience of Xero
