Denman Pre-school delivers pre-school education and care for children from ages 2 and half years to 5 years within the local and surrounding area of Westhill. Our opening hours are 8.30am-2pm Monday - Friday.

We are a small friendly team who are passionate about childcare, development and learning and we are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and motivated individuals to join our team.

We currently have two positions avaliable:

- Early Years Practitioner - to join our team three sessions a week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am - 2pm (term-time only)
- Early Years Practitioner**:

- **to join our team two sessions a week on a Monday and a Friday from 9am-2pm (Term-time only until June 2023)

Requirements for these positions:

- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Experience of working with children and families
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Experience of policy and practice in Scotland, including experience of working with documents such as Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence and Health and Social Care Standards

Your role
- Plan and create an engaging learning environment indoors and outdoors
- Observing and reflecting on childrens learning
- Ensure a safe and happy environment
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

Denman Pre-School is registered with the Care Inspectorate and is a partner provider of Pre-School education with Aberdeenshire Local Authority, and we are a member of Early Years Scotland and strive to be an equal opportunities employer.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-16 per week

**Salary**: From £9.90 per hour
