We are looking for Learning Support Assistants experienced in working with young people with Special Educational Needs to work in High Wycombee in a college based setting. The shifts are between 9-16 and the rate of pay is £12.40 per hour. This is a highly rewarding role working with young people to achieve their life goals.
You will be supporting students on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis in the classroom or out doing activities or trips within the community as well as attending some vocational placements. The roles are ongoing work is available Monday to Friday whether you are looking for a full week or an extra day a week.
This is a support role, encouraging young people to develop independence as well as providing care and support whilst in the classroom. A good level of English is required as you will be helping to take notes. Experience of supporting young people with SEN is essential.
Applicants will need to be trained and experienced support work, ideally with experience of working with young people with learning disabilities or autism.
