This is an exciting opportunity for a non-registered individual who has clinical experience within an Emergency Care or Acute Medicine environment and is passionate about education. The post will allow the individual to positively influence the delivery of excellent care throughout the patient pathway across acute and community settings.
DREEAM (Department of Research and Education in Emergency medicine, Acute medicine and Major trauma) is a forward thinking department championing inter-professional education nationally and is part of the Emergency Department at Nottingham University Hospitals Trust (NUH). DREEAM employs both educators and researchers across different professions, enabling a unique and dynamic working environment that integrates research and education with clinical practice.
As part of this team you will be responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of education both within and beyond the emergency department. You will have experience of performing clinical observations, ECGs, venepuncture and cannulation and will be given the opportunity to develop as an educator. As well as developing your use of traditional teaching methods (e.g. presentation skills, clinical skills teaching, small group teaching), you will also gain experience of facilitating simulations using both mannequins and simulated patients within our clinical skills areas and in the use Technology Enhance Learning (TEL).

- NVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care and/ or equivalent level experience in an emergency department.

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
