Cashier and Floor Staff

At A Star Convenience Store, we are here to look after and serve the local community, to the highest level everyday.

The job role, will include greeting and welcoming customers as they enter the store, helping them with any shopping needs.

Whilst providing the highest level of customer service, you will also be working independently and part as a team.

Making sure the store is kept clean, tidy and ensuring all stock is in the the right place at all times.

The Role:

- Greet and welcome customers, serving customers, dealing with cash and card payments, operating lottery terminal, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and stock is rotated in date order, checking of deliveries, rotating stock in warehouse in date order, dealing with enquiries, loading and unloading deliveries, keeping store clean and tidy vacuum and mopping at end of day.

What you need:

- Previous experience in retail /Convenience store preferred.

Have excellent accuracy and numeracy skills.

Able to operate a epos system, card payment machine and lottery terminal.

Be self motivated and have a can do attitude.

**Job Types**: 30 hours per week, Permanent

Monday 11.00 to 16.30

Tuesday 14.00 to 21.00

Wednesday Day off

Thursday Day off

Friday 15.00 to 20.00

Saturday 16.00 to 20.30

Sunday 13.00 to 21.00

Must be able to speak and understand English

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 14 per week
