Associate Building Surveyor

MCG Construction Recruitment has an excellent opportunity available for an Associate Building Surveyor to work, on a permanent basis, as part of an established multi-disciplinary team, alongside other surveyors and senior professionals, carrying out site surveys, measured surveys, condition surveys, and defect analysis, covering a multitude of sectors on a variety of projects, including public sector, sports and leisure, social housing, and private clients. This role also has the capacity to develop their specialist business sector within their team, and a long-term secure pipeline of work.

**The Role**:
- Assist with developing detailed briefs, in conjunction with the client and senior colleagues.
- Carry out site surveys, including measured surveys, condition surveys, and defect analysis.
- Carry out design and specification work and assist with preparing tender information.
- Assist with administering building contracts.
- Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work, including condition surveys, specific defect analysis, PW work, dilapidation's, access audits and FRA's.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other consultants, both internal and external.
**The Requirements**:
- BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent, and extensive professional experience post qualification.
- Must be a chartered project surveyor.
- Ability to establish a good working relationship with clients and colleagues, in this heavily client facing role.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Good AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to demonstrate flexible approach to work, and a willingness to travel to multiple sites, and stay away from home for short periods when required.
