Estimator - Roofing

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roofing Project Manager/Estimator to join our dynamic team. As a Roofing Project Manager/Estimator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of roofing projects, from estimating and planning to execution and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in project management, estimating, and roofing systems will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients while ensuring profitability and maintaining strong customer relationships.

**Responsibilities**:
Estimating:

- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to determine roofing project requirements.
- Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to generate accurate and competitive project bids.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and negotiate contracts.
- Prepare detailed project estimates, including labour costs, materials, permits, and other expenses.

Project Planning and Management:

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to clarify project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Efficiently allocate resources and monitor project progress to meet goals.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and supervise roofing project teams, including subcontractors and in-house crew members.
- Provide clear direction and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction:

- Ensure adherence to the highest quality standards and client expectations.
- Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to specifications.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, offering effective solutions.

Budget and Cost Control:

- Monitor project expenses, track costs, and make adjustments to stay within budget.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance departments to provide accurate project cost analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Roofing Project Manager/Estimator in the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, installation methods, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and manage diverse project teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Sound understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
- **MUST HAVE SLATE AND TILING EXPERIENCE**
